One of the most exceptional things about Charlotte Tilbury is her massive celebrity cult following. She’s the go-to makeup artist for every It-girl you’ve ever wanted to be, particularly the Brits—Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, and Cara Delevingne among them. Kim Kardashian has said that she “idolizes” her, yet another testament to just how beloved Charlotte is by her celeb clientele.
So beloved, in fact, that she’ll be the first non-Kardashian-branded person to be able to (legally) put the megastar’s name on a lipstick. Kim collaborated with Charlotte to create her personalized shade called Kim K.W., joining Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz, Liv Tyler, Victoria Beckham, Miranda Kerr, and more as the inspiration behind the new 12-piece line of Hot Lips lipsticks.
“Kim is the queen of the nude lip, and this vintage-inspired pale pink nude makes lips look instantly fuller and irresistible,” the iconic makeup artist explains. “When she wears this color, she evokes the 1960s starlet, like Raquel Welch and Sophia Loren.”
To be fair, it’s all for a good cause, not one that simply involves feeding the collective Kardashian ego: A donation of £1 ($1.41) will go to the Women for Women charity for each lipstick sold during the first two months of the launch. Though it sounds a bit paltry, rest assured—these babies are going to sell out, and fast. Charlotte’s lipsticks are bomb.
